Official Site Updates

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

Updates at Tarkan's official site

Tarkan's official site was updated yesterday to include new information about the pop star's latest music video and provisional concert dates in progress.

Nationwide Shows

Without giving new specific dates or venues, Tarkan.com lists at its concerts section that there will be nine venues across areas of Turkey that completely span the country "coming soon", indicating that the artist is about to prepare a national Metamorfoz tour on a grand scale similar in size to the Karma extravaganza in 2001.

Meanwhile, Turkish broadcaster TRT has confirmed on its own official site - and started running promotional TV slots - about news previously posted that Tarkan will be taking the stage to perform for children on Turkey's World Child's Day on 23 April, which will be aired live on national TV.

However, Tarkan.com has yet to confirm this public event.

Music Video to "Pare Pare" Filmed

In relation to Tarkan's second up-coming music video for his award-winning 2007 album Metamorfoz, a report has been posted up at the site's homepage to confirm that Tarkan has filmed a video to the slow track "Pare Pare".

Strange Interpretation of Poll Results

Writing that the video is currently in its post-production stage, the report does, however, describe the song as one of the tracks that attracted the most votes in a recent official music poll, which seems to contradict actual results - where the powerful ballad had been placed in the bottom three.

The poll survey had published "Dilli Düdük" the winner, even though "Dedikodu" was first with a slim 2% majority of the votes. Slow track "Istanbul Agliyor" had come in third place.

The poll had been posted up at Tarkan.com to allow visitors the opportunity to help determine by popular vote which track should follow after the "Vay Anam Vay" video.
