Tarkan's Latest Bomb?

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

Music commentator Oben Budak - who wrote that he had the chance to talk with Turkish pop star Tarkan recently after bumping into him at an exclusive bar-restaurant - has posted at his official website another breaking news story about Tarkan.

Titled as "I'm Releasing Tarkan's Latest Bomb", Budak claims in his post that US celebrity Pamela Anderson has taken part in a photo shoot with Tarkan in America for the cover of Tarkan's follow up record to 2007's Metamorfoz.

LaChapelle to exhibit in Istanbul with Tarkan as Elvis (November 2010) >>

With media portal Haberturk also posting Budak's claims, the details posted reveal that the Turkish recording artist and nineties beauty Anderson have teamed up to appear before the lens of David LaChapelle, a photographer who works in the fields of fashion, advertising, and fine art photography, and is noted for his surreal, unique and often humorous style.

Working with such global acts as Elton John, Mariah Carey and Madonna, Budak hopes that photographer and director LaChapelle will bring a much needed boost to Tarkan's profile in Turkey, quoting LaChapelle as describing Tarkan "as the most charismatic person he's met since Elvis."

Tarkan had posted up at his official site on his birthday two weeks ago that he was on his way to a photo shoot in Los Angeles with surprises in store for his fans.
