Tarkan Bounce Video: Details

Click here for larger versionWritten and composed by Tarkan, Devrim Karaoğlu, Pete Martin, Elijah Wells and Lionel Bermingham, Tarkan's music video to his English language debut song 'Bounce' has begun to air on Turkish TV. The pop singer's official site has also released it online.

Directed by German director Martin Weisz and filmed in America, the video has heralded the release date of Tarkan's same-titled single in Europe. Previously given a sole Turkish release last year in October, rumour has it that a European release for the single is being planned for March 10, 2006.

Bounce at the Party
The video follows Tarkan as he drives to a secret party, which leads to erotic and sensual sights. It follows a standard R&B format that is successful in America.

Interior shots were filmed in a hotel construction in Los Angeles, while exterior shots were recorded in the streets of city.

A cast of 70 extras, with a dance troupe of 8 people, accompanied the singer for filming and dance sequences. The central dance choreography was undertaken by Travis Payne, who has worked with such artists as Michael Jackson.

Editing was carried out in Turkey by Kıvanç Baruönü at Imaj Studios, which probably explains why the beginning of the video resembles the video to the song Hüp Ozinga Remix [Hüp single, 2001], as this was also edited by Baruönü.

The video seems to resemble other Tarkan music videos also, specifically the one to Gülümse Kaderine [Dudu album, 2003].
