Love Dances Naked

love dances naked in me,
as we once danced
by the moonlight,
on that balcony
that hugged us tight,

shadowed curves,
flame-white discs
in silken mists
above shining trees,
a satisfied breeze,

nature admired our arms, our face,
shoulders, flanks, heels
against the milky drawn shades
of moonlight, a blanket for
our cold dancefloor,

how we danced!
bodies beautifully, grotesquely
before the mirror of the night,
hips that have always been free,
going where they want to go,

waving hands round our heads,
movements in exchange,
lips singing softly,
yes, that's how love dances,
naked, naked in me.
