Tints of Green

The work is woven well;
Fertile rain drops its load
Of green and scarlet bright
In blades of grass,
Wombs that sleep
With sacred Life,

White pearls in branches
That hang like stars,
Dew light in stasis,
Tints of green at its door,
Waiting for a warm light
And an opening
To shed its heavy due,

Until suddenly the sun
Kisses the wind
To blush its cheeks
Warm though and through,
Like forgiveness
That comes after pain.
