Tarkan News Round-up

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

Tarkan Deluxe has received updates concerning recent news reports doing the rounds and published previously by the blog.

After posting a write-up about the music artist purchasing a 2008 4x4 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid, which can propel itself on electric-only power, Turkish entertainment reports on TV have captured Tarkan and his "new toy" out in the streets of Istanbul, as the artist stops with his crew to seemingly admire his latest acquisition in the hopes of "going green".

Sent in by a reader, a clip of the TV report shows Tarkan ignoring questions by the paparazzi about rumours he is thinking of freezing his sperm for a future child, and can be seen stepping out of his vehicle on a busy street to take a look at his 2008 4x4 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid.

Meanwhile, another confirmation about a Tarkan Deluxe post comes from official sources - this time in regard to blog correspondent Mark Mayhey's article about Tarkan's Berlin showing for 8 October.

Updated calendar at Redwhite Events
Tarkan's European venues updated at organiser Redwhite Events' website
Although Tarkan's official site has as yet made no changes to its concert calendar, official organiser for 2008 European Tour, Redwhite Events, has just removed Berlin from their calendar on their site, while official sources have also emailed the blog to inform its readers that a Berlin concert has provisionally been moved to December this year.

Even without the Berlin showing, it seems that Tarkan is set to cause a stir in Germany, as ticket sales are purported to be going strong. Official sources tell us that the Düsseldorf venue has sold out, with high demand for the Hamburg and Munich dates forecasting a large turnout for the artist's October shows in Germany.
