All the Right Moves

Al Arabiya's report on Turkey banning Justin Timberlake's music videoMeanwhile, Al Arabiya's variety news section mentions Tarkan in an article over the news that Turkey's state broadcasting watchdog has banned the music video for "Love Sex Magic", a duet between pop star Justin Timberlake and Ciara, due to what has been cited as "its sexually explicit content".

Reminiscent of a US ban Madonna suffered in the 1980s, in the censorship report the Arabic news site - describing Tarkan as the only Turkish singer to enter the charts in Europe - reminded its readers that in 2001, Turkey's TV watchdog for music had considered reprimanding the country's best-selling artist Tarkan for passionately kissing a woman in a video, after some viewers had complained it verged on "pornography."

And finally, in an update to the recently published article about Tarkan's tips on healthy living, the Turkish press reports that health experts are commenting that the Turkish popstar is "absolutely right" with his advice.

The only warning given was the mention of using energy drinks while exercising, with health experts saying that long use could have adverse effects.
