Sizzling Prices at Summer Fest

The Turkish celebrity news pages are carrying a story about the cost of a ticket to see Tarkan perform at the 40th anniversary of a summer music festival in Monte Carlo this August.

Headlined as a "mega price for a megastar", the report writes the price of a ticket to see Tarkan close the festival is more expensive than most other international acts scheduled to appear during the event - which started in July and will continue until mid-August.

Ticket prices to view the "Prince of the Bosphorus" on stage will cost you as much as it would to see music long-timers Tom Jones or Julio Iglesias, leaving the ticket prices for acts such as Lana Del Ray and Bryan Adams in the shade, it's reported.

It also claims Tarkan's show is garnering the most interest at the festival's official Facebook page.

Sharing a connection with Tarkan, tomorrow evening singer Paolo Nutini will be playing at the summer festival. The late, legendary Ahmet Ertegun, founder of Atlantic Records who signed Tarkan in the nineties, took Paolo under his wing after seeing him play at the tiny Liquid Lounge in New York.
