Tarkan in Vienna
The 23rd Danube Island Festival opened yesterday, offering a fantastic programme consisting of music and culture from all genres, and many different sports and leisure activities.
Playing to a packed arena of over 250,000 people at one of the festival's largest stages, main act Tarkan closed the festival on its first day, remaining on stage for nearly two hours.
Since 1984, Europe's largest outdoor festival has been held on the Danube Island in Vienna. On three to four days each year, the Danube Island Festival offers a total of more than 600 hours of entertainment on more than 20 stages. Admission is free.
Celebrating 60 years in the business with its workers, Tarkan will make an appearance in front of an audience of 12 thousand employees at Istanbul's Olympic Stadium.
