Uprisings

News headlines start off the week with the US state department official who said that the US had shown "arrogance and stupidity" in Iraq apologising for his comments and ceremonies being held in Hungary to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1956 uprising against Soviet rule. The revolt was crushed by the Soviet army and it would be 1989 before Hungary finally broke free of Moscow's influence.

Meanwhile, as some are wondering if this man could be America's first African-American president, actor Harrison Ford has said he feels "fit" at the age of 64 to reprise the role of action hero Indiana Jones.

And finally, while Australians have been told to stop singing in the shower in an attempt to save electricity and water, in Britain the question of making the web accessible for all has been raised.
