And the Winner of Tarkan Idol is...

Music promoters Absolute Events (London) Ltd, in association with ITV Local London and Turkish channel DEM TV, had organised a special competition for London's Tarkan idols to win tickets to the superstar's Wembley Arena concert on Sunday 13 April.

Due to a technical glitch, instead of fans voting online for their favourite Tarkan Idol finalist, the winner was picked by organiser Max Mehmet and Tarkan's manager Uygar Ataş from among four finalists that each won tickets to the Wembley show.

From finalists Binur Enver, Eser Bayraktar, Ceyda Yıldırım and Naz Dursun, Miss Yildirim (see top pic) was declared the winner on 12 April and received a VIP prize including tickets to the star's exclusive after-party.

The competition was aired on DEM TV's Londra Magazin, with highlights broadcast online at www.demtv.biz and www.itvlocal.com/london.
