Private Tarkan Concert in February

Tarkan guitarist Ayhan Günyıl's official concert calendar at his website reveals that Tarkan is scheduled to perform at a private function at the start of next month (see left pic).

It states that gifted guitarist Günyıl will be taking to the stage with Tarkan at the Istanbul's Grand Cevahir hotel on 5 February - although there are also rumours circulating that the venue has changed to the Istanbul Hilton.

The list also includes some of Tarkan's shows from 2009 that Günyıl appeared in, including functions that didn't get wide media coverage, such as a private function in Moscow in April and the enigmatic show in a hotel in Antalya last November.

Guitarist Günyıl has worked extensively with Tarkan in the studio and on the live show circuit, appearing on the recording artist's Dudu EP (2003) and the 2005 Ayrılık Zor promo single for GSM operator Avea, while Tarkan featured on Günyıl's début album Skylight (2007).
