A Second Police Rejection?

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

Some press sources are following the lead on Tarkan today with claims that the singer has been "rejected" by the police force a second time in the artist's offer to perform for them, after papers had previously published stories that Tarkan had been replaced to sing at their annual ball (see left pic).

Both media portals Haberturk and Gazeteport claim that Tarkan had been replaced after his four day custody for the 165th anniversary of the Turkish police force, and that Tarkan had sent a request via his manager to perform at their annual ball, which was rejected, too - calling it a second rejection.

Tarkan Deluxe contacted official sources on this issue, who wrote in to us to state that in actuality Tarkan had turned down the offer to sing at the 165th celebrations, and had suggested to sing at their annual ball instead.
