Teens React: "Cuppa" Worst Song Ever

By Steffan Matrak posted from Moscow, Russia

The Turkish version of the REACT franchise on YouTube has videoed teens first reactions to Tarkan's drop of the summer, "Cuppa".

Although a few of the teens involuntarily body popped to the music, the majority of initial reactions were negative. Most of the teens - who are clearly Tarkan fans - struggled to believe it was a proper song, and thought it might be a jingle or promo.

The most positive comment described the track as having an "empty headed energy", while most listeners found the track meaningless and wanted to stop listening before the song was over.

One girl called it the "worst Tarkan song ever", while one boy lamented that Turkish music was "over" if Turkish pop's megastar produced songs like this.

The TEENS REACT video follows on from a lot of social media shade attracted by the album teaser on its release, and the club-inspired track has since struggled to find a top position in the Turkish charts.

Translation notes: What does "Cuppa" mean?

The REACT media franchise set up by the Fine Brothers consists of several online series centering on a group of individuals reacting to viral videos, trends, video games, film trailers, or music videos.
