1. A TV advert for Heinz baked beans has been banned for comparing its nutritional value to a protein shake.
2. A liquor heiress is facing charges of funding a suspected US sex cult whose recruits were allegedly branded with the initials of its founder.
3. A Georgia lawmaker ridiculed by dropping his trousers and using racial slurs on Sacha Baron Cohen's Who Is America? show has said he will resign. Mr Spencer is coaxed into an "anti-terrorism training class", using the n-word to ward off a kidnapper and baring his buttocks to scare off terrorists.
4. One of Donald Trump's ex-foreign policy aides says allegations that he worked with the Russian government during the 2016 US election are "misleading", while Trump and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani have traded hostile warnings, amid rising tensions between the two countries. Mr Trump's angry rhetoric has echoes of his Twitter barrages against North Korea's Kim Jong-un, whom he branded a "madman" who "will be tested like never before", before engaging in a testy exchange over whose nuclear button was bigger.
5. Populists and right-wingers have a grip on power in Italy, Hungary and Austria, and now Trump's one-time adviser has designs on increasing their spread across Europe. Steve Bannon dreams of a right-wing "supergroup" gaining a populist foothold in the European Parliament after next year's European elections.
6. Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, has decided to close down her fashion brand to focus on politics, while a US school teacher has been censured for his extracurricular hobby: masquerading as a German Nazi as a part of his amateur wrestling persona.
7. Boris Johnson has said his successor as London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, must take responsibility for knife crime in the capital. Mr Johnson, who was mayor until 2016, said it was a "scandal" that the murder rate in London was higher than in New York in February.
8. A man who shot and killed another man during an argument over a parking space will not be arrested or charged, police in the US state of Florida say. Police say they did not arrest Mr Drejka because of the state's "stand your ground" or "shoot first" statute.
9. Five men have been arrested after a three-year-old boy was seriously injured in a suspected acid attack in Worcester, whose mother was reportedly the intended victim.
10. A "Snapchat queen" who posted a video of her boyfriend dying in a pool of blood has been found guilty of orchestrating his killing, while in Cornwall, a 14-year-old boy has been found guilty of kicking and punching a dog to death.
