Tarkan Chart Round-up 2017

The 28th week of 10's release coincides with the last week of the Turkish airplay charts for 2017. Some lists used the last week to take a retrospective look at the most popular songs of 2017, while others documented the positions in week 52 of the charts.

Tarkan is 2017's Top Shaker

Last December saw the publication of physical and digital end-of-year lists in a rundown of the best in music, with Turkish pop's king amongst last year's top movers and shakers.

The musical megastar charted in first and third place with "Yolla" and "Beni Çok Sev" on streaming site fizy's most popular of 2017. He was named most sought-after performer on Biletix, the most streamed Turkish male artist on Spotify and Youtube, and came top on Apple Music and iTunes Turkey.

Kral Pop's compliation chart of sales and airplay, Pop Liste, has been refreshed for 2018, publishing its final top 10 for the whole of 2017.

The final chart week of 2017 reflects the three month domination of Tarkan's first digital drop, "Yolla", with Kral's Pop Liste final top 10 for 2017 placing "Yolla" in first position. In the breakdown for digital platforms, Pop Liste has "Yolla" as second most streamed and third most downloaded track of the year.

Radio station Kral Pop's 50 of 2017 has Tarkan in first position for both radio airplay and TV rotation. On PowerTürk's TV 40, it is still in the top 30 after 6 months, at number 26, while on PowerTürk's Pop 40, "Yolla" remains at number 27.

On YouTube, the music video to "Yolla" has accumulated over a total of 229m views.

"Beni Çok Sev" Ends Year in Top 10

In the 52nd week of the official Turkish airplay chart, Tarkan's award-winning second video single release "Beni Çok Sev" slipped one place from last week to see the year out in second place.

The track ended the year in ninth position overall on Kral Pop Liste's top 10 of 2017. In the breakdown for digital platforms, Pop Liste has "Beni Çok Sev" as sixth most streamed and fifth most downloaded track of the year.

On major radio stations' own charts, Kral Pop updated for the last week of the year to chart the most popular 50 tracks throughout 2017. Both Kral Pop's 50 best of 2017 for airplay and TV rotation have placed "Beni Çok Sev" at number five. On Kral FM, "Beni Çok Sev" was dropped at number three for 2017.

On PowerTürk's TV 40 pop chart, Tarkan is down one place from third to fourth place; on PowerTürk's Pop 40, it's at number four from number two last week. On PowerTürk's 10 it enters in at first place.

Meanwhile, the music video to "Beni Çok Sev" - which was dropped exclusively to streaming site fizy for two weeks - has collected over a total of 16m views.

The song has been a fan favourite since 10's release, appearing in the music charts alongside "Yolla" and has hit nearly 82m organic hits on Tarkan's Youtube channel without a music video - his most highest viewed video on his channel so far.
