Tarkan's Goodbye Kiss

Turkish classical music artists Ahmet Özhan and female diva Emel Sayın appeared yesterday evening at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Arena in Istanbul for the first of a series of concerts under the sponsorship of Avea. Pop singer Tarkan and his girlfriend Bilge Öztürk were amongst the audience.

Towards the end of the evening Özhan and Sayın invited the singer on to the stage. Composed by Tarkan in the same classical format, he opened with his song "Gül Döktüm Yollarına" (Gave You My All). The pop star then sang a Turkish Classical favourite "Veda Busesi" (Goodbye Kiss) with the two respected singers.

Tarkan spoke of his admiration for Özhan and Sayın. "I grew up with their songs. To be able to share the same platform as them now gives me much joy and honour," he said.
