The Love Experiment
I have said that love is a paradox, that it can harm as well as heal, but really it is like all things in life. It is in our hands how we use love. Love is powerful, and abuses of that power can hurt, not only other people, but overselves most of all.
In everything expressed about love, the most important conclusion should be that love must be beneficial. It can empower people to succeed. In his 2003 song "Sorma Kalbim" from his album Dudu, Tarkan sings that there are no losers in love. Love makes you win.
So, on this Valentine's Day I want to use this a blog as a medium for love to benefit Tarkan and the readers of this blog.
How can we share love and its empowering properties?
This experiment is based on the intention-manifestation model of reality, and if you wish to participate, all you need to do is to decide to express the following intention and repeat it to yourself everday.
In an easy and relaxed manner, in a healthy and positive way, in its own perfect time, for the highest good of all, I intend love and luck to come into Tarkan's and my life and into the lives of everyone who holds this intention.
Spend approximately sixty seconds each day thinking about this intention. You can share it with friends or keep it private. You can write it down, post it on a wall, recite it aloud, use it as your PC's desktop wallpaper or default screensaver, memorize it, visualize it happening, sing it, express it artistically, blog about it, discuss it with others, meditate on it, pray it, or otherwise put some positive thought energy behind it. Establish a regular time for it to make it a habit. Tell the universe to "make it so" in whatever way you feel is a good fit for your current belief system.
Do what feels right for you.
You don't have to physically do anything until and unless you feel intuitively guided to do so. Allow the universe to handle the details, and don't be concerned with how your own positive wishes for others will manifest. Just focus on the intention while remaining detached from any particular outcome.
Take part in this love experiment now. Let us all start this intention on the day of love, and bring love into our lives today and everyday.
As long as we continue to let love in, there is always hope.
