Tarkan Back in Istanbul

Cihan News Agency reports that Tarkan's Dubai-directed flight from the Maldives has landed in Istanbul, while revealing that on his arrival the star confirmed a date for the postponed D&R signing day.

Reportedly met by a horde of fans at Istanbul's Atatürk airport, the artist, who explained he never left the sea during his 10-day break at the Maldives, stressed that the postponed signing day was definitely taking place on 25 January.

"I can't wait for that day. What's really important to me is what my fans think. I want to hear what they think about my songs."

Mentioning the idea of a music poll on his official site for fans gave the good news that preparations were under way for a second music video - possibly a comedic one to "Dilli Düdük" though the exact song is as yet unconfirmed - the artist went on to state that Metamorfoz was being criticised too early.

"There will be people that won't like it. Not everyone is going to love my songs," he said.
