Tarkan's Concert Calendar New Dates (2008)

Along with the two concert venues at the Yasil Teatr Complex in Baku, Azerbaijan and Wembley Arena in London, England, after many weeks four new concert dates have finally been published at Tarkan's official site.

One new date is scheduled for a concert in Turkey's cultural capital in May. According to Tarkan.com, there are plans for Tarkan to appear at Santralistanbul, a centre for culture and arts. Originally the first power plant to be built in Istanbul during the Ottoman period, the old power station is being conserved and renovated by the prestigious Istanbul Bilgi University.

Another two new dates in July find Tarkan making a showing at Bolu and Erdek in Turkey, though whether these are festivals or private appearances have yet to be confirmed, while a fourth date is the confirmation of a previously reported festival in Turkey.

Tarkan's appearance on the final day of the 15th Barış Suyu Turkish Culture and Tourism Festival in Manavgat (Antalya Province) has now been confirmed by his official site, however a possible concert to mark 2008 as the "Turkish Year in Russia" - though promoted by Turkey's English daily Today's Zaman - has yet to be confirmed.
