Tarkan was in Adana for the fourth leg of his Turkish Metamorfoz Tour yesterday evening.

Early news reports by Genç Haberturk and Internet Haber write that Tarkan brought Adana to a standstill, as thousands of fans converged in the gardens of Tüyap's Adana International Exhibition and Congress Center to dance the night away with the Turkish pop star, compliments of the snack giant Doritos.

News reports detail a two hour pop extravaganza on 11 August, with Tarkan singing a repertoire of twenty past and present hits to twenty thousand fans - however on stage the damp air of Adana seemed to affect the artist.

"Whatever I wear I seem to get soaked in sweat. And if I came on stage naked that wouldn't do," he is reported to have said to the crowd.

Meanwhile, Turkish paper Milliyet reports that when calls came from the audience for Tarkan to come into the stands, the singer jokingly refused saying, "If I come over there you'll tear me apart. Leave me in one piece so that I can sing to you."

Tarkan arrived in the region with a crew of 12 lorries, and activities were provided by Doritos for the audience before the start of the show, while five lucky winners of a competition run by Doritos' official site http://www.tytz.com got the chance to meet with the Turkish pop star at the show.
