Europe to See Tarkan
Two days ago Turkish-German newspaper the Post printed a report with the owner of Redwhite Events (formerly known as Prime Time Events), the organiser planning to bring Tarkan to nine major cities across Germany and Europe in October and December for the second half of the artist's 2008 Metamorfoz European Tour. Post reporter Nebahat Uzun interviewed the head of Redwhite Events, Gürcan Aksoy, in Hamburg, Germany = which is one of the nine cities preparing to meet Tarkan in the winter months. Writing that ticket sales are seeing a great demand for the October 4 Hamburg concert, reporter Uzun talked with Aksoy about Tarkan and the artist's up-coming winter tour.
Revealing that, dspite the global trend of falling concert sales, Tarkan continues to generate huge interest across all ages and races, Redwhite Events owner Aksoy stressed that he was aiming to keep ticket prices at an affordable rate for the fans.
The Hamburg concert is being touted as a "Best of" show that will include all of Tarkan's hits notched up during nearly two decades in music, with prices reflecting the holiday period celebrating the end of Ramadan.
