A Day of Passion
The day - or any day - is described as a good time for us to reflect on how much richer and happier our life will be when we become more passionate, more stimulated, more turned on about our lives, our relationships, our work, our possibilities.
Now this is not necessarily talking about love per se, or sex or lust here. For some people it will be a different kind of drive.
It's an evocative phrase: "Living every day with passion" and it can conjure up wildly different images for many people, because our perception or definition of life is determined by our past experiences and our current thoughts.
It's also one thing to know what your passions are, but it's another thing to know how to live a passionate life, day in and day out. It reminded me of the time a while back when I decided to list my top passions and go about bringing them into my life.
Bringing Passion to Life
I'm not going to fill this post with a barrage of questions I used to discover my top list of passionata. We each of us know which questions to ask ourselves to discover our own passions, but whether it's a passion for our planet or a passion for our faith or for our loved ones, bringing a modicum of passion into our lives each day might possibly gives us a bigger boost than chocolate.
I am not saying this is for everyone, or that we should over-dose on our passions, but for those that want to try it can eventually become a mini-celebration of each and every day we are on this world.
And we grow to realise that even if passion does not make the world go round, it's what makes the ride worthwhile.
