In a further update to news of a Tarkan concert on 3 October in the northern Turkish territories of the island of Cyprus, northern Cypriot paper KIBRIS writes that there is huge demand for tickets to see Tarkan - hailed as "one of Europe's most important artists" - in the capital city of Nicosia (see top left pic).

It's reported that requests for tickets have been so great the city's Turkish municipality was forced to print more tickets to meet the demand for seats.

With high demand for tickets from islanders on both side of the divide wanting to catch the chance to watch Tarkan perform live, sales indicate the show will become a memorable event for music fans across the region.
