Tarkan is an Immense Talent

On Turkish TV station Kanal D's entertainment news slot last week, self-confessed Tarkan fan - popstress Demet Akalın could be seen talking about the artist.

Before asking Akalın to give her view on Tarkan after his arrest in March following an anti-drug sting, the TV report reminded its readers that Akalın had sung at a police ball held in Adana, while Ajda Pekkan had reportedly replaced Tarkan at a show in Istanbul for the police force's 165th anniversary celebrations.

"This is no problem for Tarkan. It'll be forgotten soon. He's an immense talent," she said.

Tarkan was also included in a slot on the birthdays of celebrities, which has been given at the start of the footage.
