Tarkan in New Tribute

Posted by Steffan Matrak from Moscow, Russia

The megastar's current music label exec Samsun Demir has shared the record cover and tracklist of a tribute album featuring Tarkan on his Twitter account.

It is a tribute for respected singer/songwriter Nazan Öncel, who has penned hits for Tarkan in the past. The megastar is singing a cover of a past hit by Tarkan's long time friend and singer Sibel Can in 2005.

Gossip sites had previously printed that Tarkan would be singing a duet with Sezen Aksu on the tribute record with Öncel's own 90s hit, "Erkekler de Yanar".

A flirtatious and fun song about the "thirst" men feel towards women, the eye-popping lyrics had raised a lot of interest when first released in 1996.
