Tarkan in Kemer

For Tarkan fans who are planning a Turkish summer holiday in July, his official site has released new tour dates for Turkey in the summer, with more dates to come soon, indicating a new Avea Turkish Tour alongside his international tour.

However, there are also talks for Tarkan to make an appearance at various festivals and independent concerts across Turkey.

Alongside news of Tarkan's booked appearance at the "Love, Peace and Friendship" festival in the Turkish Black Sea region of Ereğli on July 9, there is now news that Tarkan may appear in Kemer, Antalya on 14 July, at the Ahmet Erkal Spor facilities.

Tarkan was first believed to be appearing at the annual Kemer Carnival, but after talks failed it now seems that sponsors, determined to bring Tarkan to Antalya, are still working to make Tarkan in Kemer a possibility independent of the carnival.

Residing at the five star Kemer Resort Hotel, Tarkan had given a successful concert to twenty thousand fans in Kemer on 19 July 2003, with reportedly at least six thousand Russian fans attending the concert, generating a boost in tourism.

This will also be Tarkan's second time at the Karadeniz Ereğli Festival, he gave a concert there in 2004.
