Tarkan Back on the Web

Tarkan fans can access Tarkan's website at the address http://www.tarkan.web.tr, until Tarkan.com is open again. The domain had originally been used for the Turkish language version of the artist's site at Universal Music.

Tarkan's artist site at Universal has also been taken off the Net, as the Tarkan-music.de domain re-directs to Tarkan.com as of today.

The site currently hosted at web.tr has also been updated to carry a personal message from Tarkan to his fans, expressing that he hopes they will like his music video to "Vay Anam Vay".

Unable to handle the surge in demand after the release of the "Vay" video on its pages, the service provider had shut down Tarkan.com due to what it cited as "excessive resource usage" three days ago.

Tarkan Deluxe had questioned in an early news bulletin why Tarkan's team hadn't temporarily moved the site to another domain, until they could resolve resource problems at Tarkan.com. It seems that someone in the artist's team finally hit on the idea.

UPDATE: All three domains Tarkan-music.de, www.tarkan.web.tr and Tarkan.com now currently host the website designed for Metamorfoz, with Tarkan's old site at Universal taken off the Net. After three days of shut down, all systems are up and running. (18 January 2008)
