Tarkan On the Up and Up
With his album sales selling over a quarter of a million in its first 15 days of release, and the interest of his music video "Vay Anam Vay" rising to such levels that it exceeded the resource usage of his official site for three days, the first report of a journalist doing a U-turn in regards to Tarkan's Metamorfoz has been printed by Turkish paper Sabah, today.
In the column of Hıncal Uluç for Sabah written by Can Sayın, under the headline "Vay Tarkan Vay!", the general consensus of the album is one that is appreciated over time.
Describing the album as being in constant rotation in the writer's car, something that hasn't happened with a Turkish CD in his vehicle for over two years, six favourite tracks are listed with the opening track "Vay Anam Vay" described as a "high-standard" song.
When Tarkan visited Bali in 2004 with his girlfriend, photos of the trip had been published at his official site.
