Arada Bir On Air

Tarkan's third music video "Arada Bir" has begun to air on the artist's official site, and will be broadcast on Turkish music station Number 1's TV channel NR1TV with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage for its "Special Weekend" slot, which hosts Tarkan this Saturday and Sunday, to be aired at 10.00, 16.00 and 19.00, local Turkish time (see further below for NR1TV's news bulletin and promo).

Details released at Tarkan.com reveal that the song - composed and written by Tarkan - was filmed in two days, on 35 mm film, on location in Vize, Turkey, under the direction of Metin Arolat, who has also directed fan favourites including hits "Salına Salına Sinsice" (Ölürüm Sana, 1997), "Kuzu Kuzu" (Karma, 2001), "Sorma Kalbim" and "Gülümse Kaderine" (Dudu, 2003).

The music video to the third track from the award-winning 2007 album Metamorfoz features Tarkan and his co-star, Romanian model Anda Mocanu, with the Turkish pop star in the role of a man trying to make up with his girl, against the beautiful backdrop of the Turkish countryside.

Filming included a stunt crew - as Tarkan jumps from one moving car to another in the video - with the car scenes filmed on location closed to the traffic. Post-production and special effects took 15 days to complete.

The video also starred Turkish pop diva Sezen Aksu's dog as previously reported by Tarkan Deluxe.
