Cyprus Getting Ready for Tarkan

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

News just in at Tarkan Deluxe reports that Cyprus is gearing up to welcome Tarkan to the divided island of love this Saturday for a summer concert.

Under the organisation of Cyprus Workshop, there are plans for Tarkan to give a summer concert for Viva! Casino situated in its new home at the Vuni Palace Hotel in Kyrenia.

Although the scheduled 12 July performance was reportedly planned as a private performance for the casino's VIP members, the rumours are that due to the large demand with people flying over from Turkey specially for the concert, the organisers decided to make it a free outdoor event for the whole of the island.

Tarkan had last visited the island in May 2006 for a concert in Kyrenia as part of his international Come Closer Tour.
