October Wakes Up With Tarkan

The start of October sees the release of the first issue of Turkish nature conservation society the Doğa Derneği's magazine Doğa, with Tarkan's single "Uyan" (Wake Up) as a free gift with the publication's première.

Postponed twice already, the eagerly anticipated magazine is finally due to hit the stands in Turkey today.

According to the Doğa Derneği's official website, the magazine - printed on 100% recycled paper - also boasts a report with the Turkish pop star.

Along with a music video filmed for the new track sponsored by Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream, the Doğa Derneği is aiming for Tarkan to be their new voice in a campaign to raise awareness about Turkey's fast disappearing nature and wildlife.
