Songs for a Star

Appearing on entertainment correspondent Kenan Erçetingöz's magazine show Akşam Keyfi on Turkish channel Kanal 1 (pictured left), female singer-songwriter Yıldız Tilbe revealed that she has collaborated with Turkey's most famous pop singer on two songs for his next album.

Confirming reports previously published at Tarkan Deluxe, Tilbe - whose first name means "Star" - told the reporter that she had joined up with Tarkan in preparation of a new release.

Last working with Tarkan on his 1994 release A-acayipsin, Tilbe said, "I've given Tarkan a slow song that really suits the tone of his voice. I wrote lyrics to one of his songs, and gave him a song. The song has turned out really good.

"It's going to be really great," she said.
