Tarkan's NYC Celebrity Event Gets Praise
Fashion TV has aired its report on Emilie Humanitary fund raiser at Fashion Week in New York City with special celebrity guest, Turkish recording artist Tarkan.
The singer had attended the red charity event, hosted by Fashion TV and Zink Magazine, with the RdV luxury lounge transformed into a high-energy venue for a good cause.
Meanwhile, Christine Ka'aloa's GRRRL Traveler blog has commented on the evening, too, describing it as "the best fashion week party" that Ka'aloa had attended.
"With guest appearances by a both, yummy and shy Turkish pop icon, Tarkan, it supported a cause that’s close to my heart. Children. On the closing night of Fashion Week, Emilie Humanitary sponsored a celebrity charity event, LIVES in the trendy meat packing district," Ka'aloa writes.
"The young non-profit organization sheds light on dark lives in poverty-stricken areas of developing countries and strives to provide free surgery to children in Cambodia, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Columbia, Dominican Republic, and Haiti while also educating medical teams in the locations they operate at."
