Tarkan Producer Tweets Tarkan

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

Screencap of reportAfter the news of US publicist Avo Yermagyan tweeting about Tarkan's PETA ad on his Twitter account, long time Tarkan music producer Ozan Çolakoğlu has posted tweets on his Twitter account about Tarkan, too (see left pic).

From the producer's tweeting it seems that Çolakoğlu is busy working on a list of songs, including Tarkan's to confirm work of some kind is in progress, while also announcing that he has broken off ties with Sarı Ev studios.

As co-founder of Sarı Ev - along with colleagues Özgür Buldum and Barış Büyük - it was used to record part of Tarkan's 2003 EP Dudu and subsequent works.

Çolakoğlu tweets that he is currently working at DB music studios located in Kavacık, Istanbul.

The Turkish media had reported this month that Tarkan is currently working hard on a new album, having locked himself away for three months to complete recording at the DB music studios.

Tarkan and Çolakoğlu both met at the start of their careers. As Tarkan's fame grew as an artist, so did Çolakoğlu's as a musical arranger, signing his name to other successful productions such as producing the winning song that won Sertab Erener the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and working on the soundtracks to the eleventh highest grossing movie in Europe in 2004, G.O.R.A.
