Hours to Go to New Tarkan Song?

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

The buzz on Twitter between female music producer Sude Bilge Demir and Tarkan's music producer Ozan Çolakoğlu is that tomorrow afternoon - 5 o'clock local Turkish time - all national radio stations will be playing Tarkan's new song.

Although she claims that Tarkan is coming back with an album and not a single, Demir is very upbeat and communicative with Tarkan fans in her tweets, where she even tries to persuade Çolakoğlu to reveal the name of the new song for fans.

However, "There's just 18 hours left," Çolakoğlu writes.

This seemingly confirms rumours that Tarkan will be coming back with a new song in May. If it is a single, it will follow the trend of increasing single sales opened up with the start up of digital music sales in Turkey - where previously it had been an album orientated market.

Tarkan had released his first single in Turkey "Kuzu Kuzu" in 2001.
