More 2010 Album Information

By Adelind Osmanlı reporting from Munich, Germany

Screencap of tweetsTurkish music label DMC rep Samsun Demir has been blogging on his Twitter account to give out more details on Tarkan's highly anticipated 2010 album, which he had revealed earlier would be split into a summer and winter release.

Demir has now tweeted that the first part of the album, set to be released this summer, will have more dance tracks, while the second part of the album, set to come out at the end of the year, will hold more slow tracks.

The DMC rep also tweeted that there are songs from Sezen Aksu and Aksu's son Mithatcan in the first part release.

UPDATE: More Aksu songs in part two >>

Demir says that there might be a "maximum two day delay" to the 12 June release date, while also tweeting to reporter and one-time Tarkan aide Rahşan Gülşan that it will be a good album, but he didn't want to say any more "so as not to raise expectations".

Meanwhile, Gülşan - who prevously gave a good reaction to Tarkan's May track - has also tweeted that Tarkan's manager Uygar Ataş had called her to say that the album was "definitely being released" on 12 July, and that there were some "amazing surprises" on the album.

UPDATE: Tarkan and Ataş parted company in November, 2010.
