Turkish pop's megastar today shared his first Father's Day post as he prepares for the upcoming birth of his first child.

Joining a host of stars to pay tribute on Father's Day, Tarkan posted a picture of himself and his pregnant wife in a loving embrace.

Tarkan captioned that he wished a happy day to "all fathers and fathers-to-be" under a post that was liked nearly half a million times in its first hours of posting.

Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.

It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March, April and June. It complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Mother's Day.
