Tarkan Chart Update: Week 52

In the 52nd week of release, Tarkan's 2017 album 10 has dropped out of the highest selling albums across D&R stores, as compiled by pop radio station Kral.

Tarkan Deluxe has tracked the figures compiled by the music station across a year of the album's release. The figures reveal fifteen consecutive weeks at number 1, sixteen weeks overall, the highest selling album of 2017 and 46 weeks in the top ten.

Meanwhile, Telifmetre, which monitors songs and advertisements aired on TVs and radios in Turkey, published figures last week that showed Tarkan as the most played artist on TV and radio in the first half of 2018.

According to Telifmetre, alongside those stats Tarkan's third video release "Çok Ağladım" also topped the radio airplay in the first weeks of June this month for daytime and evening rotation.

Looking at this week, "Çok Ağladım" has dropped to number two from its top position last week in the 24th week of Telifmetre's top ten for airplay figures. The official Turkish airplay chart has not published listening figures for its 24th week, however, probably as it coincided with Eid celebrations, which fell on Friday last week.

Contrary to the monitors elsewhere, the track has dropped out of radio station Kral Pop's compilation of streaming and CD sales and airplay - the Pop Liste top ten. Tarkan does not chart in any of its breakdown listings, either.

The song is charting on Kral Pop's own weekly radio chart up at number 9, and remains at number 9 in its TV chart, however.

On rival radio station PowerTürk's weekly charts the track is down from a 9th position to number 14 on its TV chart, but its radio airplay remained unchanged over the public holiday at number 11 from last week.

The music video - which was initially dropped exclusively to streaming site fizy - has collected over 15m views in total on YouTube since its release.
