View from the Back Seat
Prolific 19th century Danish philosopher and theologian Søren Kierkegaard once said, "A man prayed, and at first he thought that prayer was talking. But he became more and more quiet until in the end he realised that prayer is listening."
There are times when instead of action, we are called upon by life to take a back seat and listen. If these moments are appreciated, this is when we often learn the most important lessons of all.
