Tarkan's Russian Ad Airs on Turkish TV
Tarkan's million dollar ad campaign in Russia as the face of fresh citrus products exported from Turkey to Russia for the Citrus Promotion Group has had excerpts of the commercials, filmed by Turkish director Ezel Akay, air on Turkish TV stations during their main news broadcasts.

The aired footage shows Tarkan singing a well-known Russian folk-song called "Ty Pastoi" (Wait) - which is commonly known as "Snow Flurries" or "Snow Whirl" in English - while he introduces Russian families to a flurry of citrus fruits, inducing them to wait a moment and taste the golden taste from Turkey.
TV station Show TV has the footage it aired during its main evening news slot online at its website.
The report states that a crew of 120 people worked on the commercials to create a fairytale-like set for the shoot.
National Russian TV stations will be running the commercials - of which three have been filmed - on 12 November.
