Highly relevant to Tarkan's own life at the moment, Tarkan Deluxe founder Ali Yildirim has kindly explained to us that the meaning of "last strike" in this context is from "fighting slang" where a fighter on the verge of defeat makes a "last-ditch" attempt with a final golden blow to win.

With lyrics penned by the late lyricist Aysel Gürel - rumoured to have been discovered after her death - and composed by Tarkan with arrangements by Ozan Çolakoğlu, sources claim that the song will also play on Tarkan's official website, although there has been no update at the domain at time of going to press.

The lyrics to the speculated song have been circulated online as far back as 2009, when it was rumoured that Tarkan had scrapped his songs on the say so of Turkish diva Sezen Aksu - which was publicly denied in an interview with producer Çolakoğlu.

Pictures of song sleeve were tweeted by female radio DJ Yasemin Şefik.
