Tarkan's Special Request on Feature Album

Three columnists in the Turkish press in three different papers have talked about a new album out in the Turkish music market from music producer Ozan Doğulu that features Tarkan, with claims that the Turkish megastar made a special request on the previously reported release.

As Turkish music fans wait poised for Tarkan's own 2010 album, the Turkish megastar's tracks "Unutmamalı" (A-acayipsin, 1994) and "Pare Pare" (Metamorfoz, 2007) have been re-imagined for Doğulu's compilation album 130 bpm.

Hürriyet variety reporter Onur Baştürk tells his readers to watch out for the new version of "Unutmamalı" which has started playing everywhere, while media portal Haberturk correspondent Oben Budak writes that Tarkan re-sang his track "Unutmamalı" after 16 years on his own request, with Çağdaş Ertuna in paper Milliyet's variety section Cadde posting the same in her column, adding that Doğulu couldn't say no to Tarkan.

Doğulu - brother of singer Kenan Doğulu - has worked with Tarkan before on the 2001 hit single "Hüp" and the 2008 re-issue of the megastar's Metamorfoz.
