2010 Tarkan Album Updates
Album is Finally in Print
Paper Milliyet's variety section Cadde has printed that Tarkan's 2010 album "Adımı Kalbine Yaz" ("Write My Name Across Your Heart") has finally gone to print and should land on the music shelves "in a few days".
Turkish music station Kral TV has also aired news of Tarkan's 2010 album in its news slot.
Contrary to Cadde's article, Kral's report says the album will hold 11 tracks, six new songs and five remixes. The footage also says this is part one of a two part release, with the second part planned for distribution later this year.
The reason cited for split in the report is that the aim is to release a video single for every song, as each track was chosen after "great deliberation".

Album Release Date: 16 or 19 July?
And although reports coming in - along with the Kral TV report - are saying that the album will be released 16 July, Turkish music label DMC rep Samsun Demir has confirmed that the album has gone into print, but that it may take until Monday for all the copies to be ready, which will mean the release date might be extended from 16 to 19 July.
Demir tweets that because of the high amount of copies being printed a delay is natural as all retail outlets want the album at the same time.
Meanwhile, elsewhere on Twitter radio DJ Kadir Çetin has blogged that Tarkan's track "Kayıp" ("Lost") from his 2010 release "is the most romantic, most beautiful song I've listened to in the last 10 years" revealing that he would be playing it "definitely" either this Thursday or Friday.
This indicates that Tarkan's new songs could begin rotation at the end of this week, prior to the album's hard copy release at the start of next week.
