Tarkan: Family Matters

Tarkan has shared photos on social media rocking the dapper look with his wife at the Great Gatsby themed wedding of a close friend's son.

Turkish news wires have reported that the famous couple arrived with two security guards who blocked photo opportunities, and left the party by the back entrance to avoid reporters.

The papers write the Gatsby themed wedding was for the son of Mensure Özbek, VIP Coordinator to the Acibadem Hospitals Group. A female correspondent who was at the wedding wrote about meeting the couple, with Tarkan chiding the press for getting his wife's name wrong.

Elsewhere in the print media, Tarkan was recently spotted visiting an elderly fan at a care home by journalists and was asked about his baby announcement online.

The news reports write that Tarkan looked happy, and stayed to chat with the elderly residents for a long time, before coming out to greet waiting reporters.

When asked about the upcoming birth, the megastar said the couple have not yet decided whether the child will be born in Turkey or the US, and shied away from confirming or denying the gender of the baby.

And when reminded about the reactions to his video and the trolling it received from some quarters, Tarkan replied that he had just wanted to share his joy.

"I just said what I felt inside. That's all," he said.
