Tarkan: Remembering Love in Spring

Turkish paper Hürriyet is the first out of the popular daily papers to report on Tarkan's 2010 May song "Sevdanın Son Vuruşu" ("Love's Last Strike").

It is a short article, writing that Tarkan wanted to "remember love in these days of spring" (see left pic).

Meanwhile, Kral TV - where Tarkan is rumoured to appear for its VMAs this Monday - has aired a resynchronised video of Tarkan's previous video singles to his latest track.

The Tarkan Deluxe team have been re-syncing Tarkan videos and tracks for years (view a collection of our blog videos here).

The Kral TV video was played simultaneously on Kral TV as Kral FM played Tarkan's latest track along with major music stations across the country, during popular radio show Mehmet'in Gezegeni, which also airs live on the TV station.

DJ Mehmet Akbay - who has hosted a variety of significant names in the Turkish music industry on his show - said that Tarkan was watching the show, and listening to the public's reaction.

He also said that Tarkan was gearing up to appear at Kral TV's 16th VMAs, while indicating that the Turkish megastar would appear on his radio show, too.
