Tarkan 2010 Album in July?
Recent tweets to come out from micro-blogging site Twitter are suggesting that Tarkan's latest album release date could be delayed until the end of July, due to two news songs being recorded at the last minute for inclusion into what is being perceived as the pop singer's most crucial comeback album ever.
Two New Songs Halt Album, but Worth the Wait
Since news of the postponement of Tarkan's eagerly awaited record release for 2010 had been published last May, little news, if any, has been forthcoming from traditional media channels or official sources as to why or when a new album from Tarkan would be released.
However, while media portal Haberturk columnist Oben Budak in a recent column has written indirectly about the postponement of the Turkish megastar's new release, tweets from Twitter have also left some clues as to any future of a summer 2010 album from Tarkan.
Haberturk correspondent Budak writes that he knew after listening to the new album pre-release, Tarkan had "captured two new songs and gone into the studio with [long-time producer] Ozan Çolakoğlu" again, and the album wouldn't be coming out so soon, whilst elsewhere on Twitter Turkish music label DMC rep Samsun Demir has tweeted to Tarkan fans that "it will be worth the wait".
As Demir tweets that Turkish pop diva Sezen Aksu has composed "an amazing" new song "Aşk Dansı" ("Love Dance") for Tarkan, which is in its final days of completion, another source - a close Aksu aide - responded to Demir to tweet that "an amazing album is on the way" with seven Aksu songs in the release.

The Aksu aide also suggested that the album would be out towards the end of July, prompting a response from Demir that he doesn't know and is in the same situation as everybody else as to a release date.
"[It will possibly be] 21 June, but the decision is Tarkan's," Demir had tweeted earlier this month.
