Tarkan Number 1 for Album Sales

According to figures published by Kral's top ten of the nation for week beginning 7 August, Tarkan has hit the top position for album sales across Turkey.

Kral's national top ten marks the ten most listened to artists in Turkey for that week according to airplay popularity by national and local radio stations overall, including hard copy and digital sale figures.

Meanwhile, the singer continues to hold a number 4 position across national radio stations for most airplay for his song "Sevdanın Son Vuruşu" ("Love's Last Strike"), and is the second most listened to track by local Turkish radio stations.

The track is also the second most downloaded song in the national digital sales chart.

And after securing the two number one spots in major Turkish music station Kral's radio and video charts with his track "Sevdanın Son Vuruşu", Tarkan continues to hold the second highest position with "Adımı Kalbine Yaz" from the same titled 2010 album Adımı Kalbine Yaz on the station's radio chart.

Tarkan's music company HITT had organised its 6th annual summer open air concerts at the Harbiye in Istanbul under the sponsorship of Kral this year, which was kick-started with a performance by Tarkan on 31 July.
