World's Most Handsome Dad: Tarkan

Tarkan's long time friend and singer Sibel Can has publicly congratulated Tarkan on the birth of his daughter Liya. Speaking to reporters before a show, she called Tarkan the "most handsome father in the world".

Can said she was constantly texting Tarkan about Liya, instead of speaking on the phone so as not to disturb the new parents, who were still in Germany. A mother of three, Can explained that she knew what it was like to be in that situation.

Can added that she didn't want to bother them with constant calls, but as Liya's "auntie" she would be visiting Tarkan and his "angelic wife" the moment they returned to Istanbul.

She also dismissed recent cosmetic surgery rumours, saying that her youthful appearance was just down to "good genes".

In other baby news, pop diva Ajda Pekkan took another opportunity to congratulate Tarkan on Liya's birth in a newspaper interview.

In the report, Pekkan said she had not had the opportunity to congratulate Tarkan in person yet, but said that it must be an "amazing feeling" to be a parent. Pekkan also spoke about her own regrets in never having children.

Finally, there are claims that Tarkan has hired his wife a lactation consultant.
